Happy hour at Lookout Lounge is one of our favorite things to do in Mexico Beach. Come hang out with the local folks and stay for the sunset over the Gulf of Mexico. But be forewarned...there may be some bullshitting going on.
Great music and drinks! They have a downstairs area with a bar, an outside lower level area, an outdoor area up stairs, and an upstairs bar where they have karaoke on certain nights (sorry can't remember which nights). Try the strawberry colada!
Great bar. Good prices. Sarah the day bartender is quite fun to be around. Making a trip there for a drink or 2 well worth the trip. Local Touch Tunes juke sounds great. Outside smoking area provides an area for a cool drink, great ocean view and a great place to hang out. 5
The bartender jorge is the absolute best!! Very personable and always ready to answer questions and always has the best answers!! He is extremely knowledgeable in libations and runs a clean and presentable bar. We enjoyed our trips to talk with him and met friendly locals that made us feel at home. The upstairs sounded fun with karaoke but we were much happier with the laid back feel of the bottom bar. The place could use some updates physically but the bones of the lounge are great. Laid back atmosphere. Good drinks and a nice outside deck to mingle.
