What a complete Dump! Will never rent from this company again! I suggest anyone reading these reviews take your cash somewhere else.
Just doesn't seem to care that much about you once they have your money. Too many other options out there to not get the satisfaction you deserve.
Do yourself a favor and find a different rental company. Our rental house had various problems such as poor cleanliness, a sliding glass door that would not slide properly, and a dish washing machine that would not function. When we checked in the staff seemed friendly enough, until we mentioned the issues we were having. The staff began to become dismissive and created excuses when the issues were brought up, including telling us that there were no issues with our door when it clearly had been malfunctioning for quite some time.
Home was in a lovely location. Home was in very poor condition. Deck was literally falling apart, slats were unattached and hanging creating a huge safety issue, the rails were weak and wobbly, the ugly peeling paint was the least of my worries. I would not let any of the children on the deck because I was afraid one of them would fall. The pilings under the house were crumbling away and you could see the exposed rebar on all of them. It looks like the house might just fall to the ground in a big storm. Wallpaper was falling off the walls, mold in the bathrooms, kitchen was poorly stocked. The biggest issue of the week was that the AC was not working properly so the house was extremely hot all week. The rental company did send a repairman out to look at it but he basically said that the ac was too old and needed replaced. None of my other concerns about the house were adressed by management. The people were very friendly when I checked in and when I made the reservation. I was just very disappointed in the homes condition. Again, I will say the home's location was wonderful and we had gorgeous views all week. We have been visiting Cape San Blas for 10 years and never had a negative experience with a rental until this one. I would not risk renting from this company again in the future.
Other than this, general maintenance seems to be sparse. Interior paint was chipped, cobwebs were on most vents, the deck was in poor condition and did not feel safe, some of the stairs outside were missing supports, and the interior did not seem to have been updated for a couple of decades. In my opinion, it seems that the property manager has not done their due diligence in keeping the property in shape and seems to have failed to inform the property owner of any issue. There are plenty of rental companies in Florida. Please, take a look around and find one that wants to care for their customers. This one certainly does not.
Rented house in 2016, washing machine didn't work. No offer to reimburse from rent, or for Laundromat, checked in Saturday, wasn't fixed until Thursday. Loved the house so much, decided to rent again in 2017, AC couldn't keep up, got up to 90 degrees during the day inside, was told first that we were turning it below 72 (says on thermostat not to) which we weren't, then were told 'it's how outside, it just can't keep up'
There's too many other brokers out there, pass this one by.
I'm not sure how businesses such as this survive. Possibly their customers are just accustom to this sort of service. Fortunately I've dealt with numerous rental agencies across Florida and recognized this prior to entering into any sort of agreement as should you. Be wise and look around. There are plenty of rental agencies out there that will treat you nicely. This group clearly has no interest in making the customer happy and unfortunately the home owners they represent most likely have no idea. Avoid this agency (not sure if it even deserves that title) at all cost. Their 90's cheap website is a perfect example of the type of people you are dealing with.
