mexico beach. do not stay at this location if you have young teenage daughters. It is very close to what appears to be a local bar and my girls where constantly harassed by drunk grown men while walking on the beach wanting to know if they wanted to party. Also if you want to do anything but sit in the sand its a good 50 min drive to pcb to just get to food, shopping, and other activities. And just a example of what we had to deal with, the locals think its funny to put dead fish, sharks in the middle of the rd in front of the rentals.

We were foolish enough to trust Pristine Properties. We stayed at Sea Dragon for 4 days. We booked the trip despite scallop season being closed. On the last morning of our stay we got a call from Gulf County Emergency Management. They called the home we rented and told us there was a mandatory evacuation of the entire Cape San Blas peninsula. When I called the Pristine Properties, they confirmed that we would have to evacuate. We stopped by the Prisitine Properties office and asked if we would be refunded for our last night. We were met by, "the owner" of the business, Justin. He told my wife and I that "if we wanted our last night's rent, and didn't want to leave, we didn't have to." We asked which part of "mandatory hurricane evacuation" allowed us to stay. When we asked about having our last night's rental fee returned to us, initially he said he "would look into it". When we pressed for specifics, he told us he was "under no legal obligation to return our money". In fact, he told us we should have taken out traveler's insurance instead. I kept my part of the bargain. I paid in full and expected to receive 4 nights accommodations for 4 nights of rental fees. I'll freely admit, had I known Pristine Properties is in the habit of cheating their customers during a hurricane, I would have taken out traveler's insurance. What kind of low-life suggests you remain during a mandatory hurricane evacuation in order to avoid refunding your rental fee when their office confirmed that you must leave!? (Rhetorical question). This is about doing the right thing. An honest and ethical business would not take advantage during a hurricane evacuation. It's been 5 days since we were forced checked out and I have yet to receive my security deposit. You are free to do business with this office, but we will NEVER give them another dime. Buyer beware, this business uses a natural weather disaster to steal from their customers.

My family and I have been going to Cape San Blas for 8 years, and this is the first time we have ever been disappointed in our stay. It is also the first time renting a home from Pristine Properties. The house was dirty upon our arrival. Mcdonald's trash under the couch, plastic spoons in the movie bin, blood stain on a pillow case, crumbs on the bed, etc. We called them and they sent someone out to retrieve some of the items and were hoping to hear from the management, but after calling numerous times throughout the week, we never heard from anyone. We were traveling with four small children, and when we arrived to the house, I found a blood pressure pill lying beside the coffee table. This could have killed one of our small children. We had a light bulb go out in the children's room one morning. We called them and they said they would send someone out that day. As evening arrived and it started to get dark, no one had came, so we called again. They said they could come out but they did not know how to change the bulb. They instructed us to change the bulb ourselves or move a lamp to the room. We had to wait until the next afternoon to have the light changed. Needless to say, we definitely will not be renting from them again.

Beach Destiny

Service was very good. Reservations were a breeze and property was ready to go when we arrived. Staff was very accommodating Toba few needs we had. The area was nice and house was close to the beach.

Still here , this will be our last time in this , chiropractors dream . We have been in Free Bird 10 times over the past 6 years , there was a change in ownership , of course everything changed , furniture reminds me of my college days futon like . Went to Pristine Management , and told them the following ,Web sight still had previous pictures of place, no DVD player , and other Items used for kitchen. Also no end tables and lamps for living room to read by , a total disregard for our concerns. Never going to use them again.
