Oysters are the best around. Shrimp great too. Good beer selection and soft drinks. Wine is terrible though. Informal, fun atmosphere, a place you can be yourself and enjoy. Be patient, great oysters take little while to prepare.
Our first time there was great . At first we did not know it was self serve beer / pitcher snacks while we were waiting to get waited on. The food is cooked to the customers order. Very helpful waitress !! Great oysters , shrimp gumbo etc. a casual experience with class food . Walk in enjoy , giver her a break she is busy helping customers like you . Your turn will come. Enjoy !!
You don't have lines of people waiting at your restaurant door before you open for no reason. The food is well worth the wait. My family has been coming here the past 3 years and this is our 1st place we eat after a long drive. The oysters and shrimp are amazing!! We love the honor system that they allow you for all your drinks, you get what you want and check the box every time you get a fresh one! The food is ALWAYS fresh and hot! Staff is very friendly and the oh my gosh the atmosphere is Awesome!!!! This restaurant is one and a million and good news they just opened another one in downtown Port St.Joe named Indian Pass Raw Bar Uptown. Everyone enjoy, counting down until I can be there again all the way from Missouri!!
It's a Gator fan friendly look inside but the atmosphere and design of the place was pretty neat and that's coming from an FSU fan. I really liked the laid back "Honor Code" style of drinks and ordering of food was different yet not difficult. Food was good, oysters were pretty small but that could have just been time of year. Stuffed shrimp was good. You have to share table and condiments with other guest which depending on who you sit with can be good or not so much fun. We had party of 4 and ordered 5 different plates for table to share and I still left hungry...
An institution in the area for many years. Self serve beer on the honor system. Order food by checking the items you want on the menu. Server gets the list and brings food. Occasionally will check in with you. Many varieties of beer available, draft and bottle. 13 mile oysters served -best oyster bed in the area. Food is above average - basic deep fried fare. Prices are higher than average. Very popular and crowded.
