The salad bar was fresh, but a little lacking in variety.
I visited again and had the special. It was a Seafood Platter. Great food and great price. My waitress Michelle was very attentive. I really enjoy this restaurant.
Family owned. Family operated. Loved the service, the food and the talk with the owner. By far the best meal we had on our entire summer vacation. The owner works hard just like the rest of his crew. That says a lot to me.
The fried pickles might be the best I've had and my family enjoyed the fried mushrooms.
After searching for a place to stop and eat while traveling through on a quick road trip from Panama City, my beautiful woman quickly pointed out the reviews were good here. Me, I am not much into seafood and seeing it was also serving steak I said why not. Well it turned out I tried the seafood plate and the shrimp and cod was amazing. She had the broiled plate and the seasoning on the cod was sooo good. The service was great and we were very pleased. After dinner we took a romantic walk down by the water to make our evening even better.
We ate here twice while on vacation. The first time I had the steak which was very good. My wife had crab legs and said they were to die for. I tried some and thought they were pretty typical, but I am not a seafood lover.
In short, service was great, food was not as great.
Went here with my boyfriend early evening on a Friday. We got seated right away and our waitress was absolutely wonderful. She was very sweet, kept refilling drinks, and brought us everything we asked for right away. We ordered two appetizers and got a meal each. The appetizers (hot wings and alligator) were great but the meal itself was nothing worth dying over. My catfish was very bland and his food was not overly amazing either.
On our second visit I had the large cheese burger which was just ok. The thickness and grilled taste reminded me of Burger King which seems fairly damning, but I promise it tasted good if you can resist making the comparison.
Very friendly staff. Wonderful food. The service was excellent. My waiter, Mike, explained the special to me and offered suggestions.
Overall I would say Ronnie B's was a good experience and a solid choice. It has a very authentic home grown feel if that's your thing.
We would recommend this place for someone wanting good food at a decent price.
